Freezer, microwave and oven safe bowls
Our sugarcane material can be heated in a microwave and is oven safe up to 220oC. When we release our sugarcane lids you will be able to make ready-to-serve meals off-site, freeze them for transport and reheat in the oven for serving.
Fully recyclable and compostable
These products can be recycled in the mainstream paper recycling if not contaminated with food and can be composted in a commercial compost. Our PET plastic lids can go in the plastic recycling stream.
Sugarcane pulp is compostable
Yes. Our sugarcane products can be recycled along with paper and cardboard if not contaminated with food residue. They will biodegrade at the same rate as other fibrous garden waste in a home compost. The rate of decomposition depends on the composting conditions – the temperature, turnover rate and moisture. Products will biodegrade much faster if they are broken into smaller pieces. They will biodegrade within 120 days in a commercial composting facility.
