Cup full of heART – 20th Sept to 4th Oct, 10am-3pm

Cup Full of HeART is a creative art fundraising event for OzHarvest that encourages parents and their children to spend $5 on a BioCup that they can colour with markers. All the cup artworks completed during the event will be displayed in the shop window of Treehouse Childrens Décor on Level 5.

“Kids can make a real difference within the community these school holidays and have some fun creating their very own unique cup design,” says Tracey Hayim, cup full of HeART organiser and owner of eastern-suburbs based creative arts workshop company, Live Love Learn.

“We’re encouraging kids of all ages and their parents to spend time on Level 5 during the school holidays, to enjoy some creative fun and put their Textas to work. By spending just $5 on a BioPak cup and creating a unique cup design, kids can make a valuable contribution to the local homeless community.”

“We believe that this cup full of HeART event will demonstrate to kids of all ages that they can make a genuine difference to their community. Every effort, however small, really does count.”

Five dollars goes a long way, “every $5 cup purchased during the Cup Full of HeART fundraiser will allow OzHarvest to feed an extra 10 school children who go to school without breakfast, or bed without dinner each night,” says OzHarvest’s communications and marketing manager, Louise Tran.

BioPak are proud to support this fundraiser by supplying BioCups. As the fundraiser expands into other suburbs, states and territories, there is an opportunity that one of the cups designs may be chosen and printed, as part of a collection of kids’ art, distributed by BioPak.
