As a responsible business, we feel that we have an obligation to preserve and protect the environment and to give back and support the community at large. We donate our time, energy and a percentage of all profits to environmental groups and community programs that contribute to the preservation of our natural environment, and help accelerate the transition to a circular economy by promoting sustainability, economic development and self-sufficiency.

1% to Rainforest Rescue
We have been working with Rainforest Rescue for three years, restoring rainforest and raising funds for their Save the Cassowary campaign. This year we have formalised our partnership, committing 1% of all profits to the restoration and preservation of rainforest. In 2015, on behalf of our loyal customers and as a token of our appreciation, we have adopted 1,500 trees and purchased one more hectare of rainforest in The Daintree National Park.
2.5% to Carbon Offsets
All BioPak products are certified carbon neutral. The carbon emissions associated with the production, transport and disposal of our products are measured by the Carbon Reduction Institute and offset through the purchase of carbon credits. By choosing BioPak you have contributed to the Hanuman Argo Carbon Offset Project.
Purchasing carbon credits is often the fastest way for a businesses to reduce their CO2 emissions. It also delivers added benefits at the project site, such as employment opportunities, community development, training and education.
4% to Community
We are inspired by the community work of so many of our hospitality customers, particularly those working with the homeless and disadvantaged. We are a key partner to STREAT who 'stop homelessness the delicious way' – running three cafes and coffee carts, roasting their own coffee and producing cookbooks all to support and train young homeless people to find their feet through employment in the hospitality industry. We support a number of other projects, from Rosies 'Cuppa' program to Yahava Coffee's ongoing involvement with Black Dog Ride. A percentage of sales of our Indigenous BioCups go directly to Indigenous owned CorporateConnect.AB who support Indigenous communities by developing practical, innovative and sustainable solutions for employment and economic advancement.
